Caring Attitude – YAS demonstrates compassionate support and concern for unemployed and vulnerable youth in urban and rural areas. As a part of this caring attitude, we will educate and support youth to use their God given potentials to engage in meaningful programs that will help them improve their life standards while contributing to the development of their communities and their country at large.
Responsiveness (& Agile) – YAS will involve youth to find solutions that meet their unemployment needs through intuition, discernment for innovative ideas introduced by youth themselves, partners and or communities they live in.
Respectfulness – YAS will honor the choices of youth encouraging each person to take control over his/her own life, and helps to shape these based on what is important to youth. We respect the role that the churches and other faith based organizations have in helping to shape youth choices and YAS will collaborate to ensure achievement of required results.
Individualized Support – YAS knows that youth needs vary significantly and can change over time; we seek to understand the individual dream and co-create the right supports for each person’s development idea through right linkage to appropriate support –donor partners or institution.
Diversity – YAS understands that youth are part of all races, ethnicities and religions; we seek to assist and collaborate with as many youth and youth groups as our financial resources support.
Integrity and Accountability – YAS NGO will live and foster the highest level of integrity in its administrative, programmes, services and all activities carried by YAS or in collaboration with any partner. We tie these activities directly to our mission, and we maintain and report our records accurately.
